What does it mean if a course isn't listed on the schedule? I know Geog 2GG3 has an exam, but it's not listed. Is this the fault of the prof or the Registrar?

There is no Geog 2GG3 offered this term, according to the Master Timetable. There is, however, Earth Sci 2GG3 (Natural Disasters) and its exam is Dec 16 at 9am.

So when is the last day of classes? Would it be the 6th or the 7th.

i really wished the timetable gave that info. the only way to find out is to ask your prof or check your course outline

might be a stupid question..but what exactly is "alpha-split"? Is it just based on your last name? or first name? and why is it that exams written in IWC have 2 sections? Ex. IWC 2 (8) Does that mean the 2nd floor..and room 8??

It's always last name...the exam schedule tells you that.
There are three gyms in IWC...#1, #2 and #3. Each gym is divided into several individual 'blocks' of desks, labelled by signs with numbers on them. They usually have two very different exams in each block, and then alternate the rows so that people to your left and right are writing different exams.

Alpha split is the last name division (divided on first name too if you happen to have the same last names, but you'll end up with your same-last-name friend anyways).

IWC 2 is a region in Ivor Wynn Centre, there are signs everywhere. Just go in the main doors and look for the signs! 8 will be a sign post inside IWC 2.

IWC 1 is to the left, (I think), and IWC 2 might be in the basement or something. Or the other way around.

commerce2014 says thanks to RyanC for this post.

Mine is waaaay too crammed, no fair!

Comp Sci 1BA3 Thu 9 12:30
Econ 1B03 Fri 10 9:00
Math 1F03 Fri 10 19:30
Psych 1X03 Sat 11 9:00
MMedia 1A03 Tue 14 9:00

I almost took Anthro 1A03 instead of MMedia and that would literally have been on the 11th as well. I imagine many people in my program did take that combination. Thats 5 exams in 3 days what the hell?

Most of these classes are normal classes anyone in first year commerce would take as well. Is there anything that can be done about this?
