In 2011 Osap came on time, in the first week of September days before class even started.

In 2012 the master student financial assistance agreement was introduced and everyone had to wait for confirmation of enrollments so it delayed osap, some people at certain universities didn't get their osap until October.


In 2013, I didn't use Osap so I have no clue how efficient they've managed to become again or if its now the norm to receive osap in late September.

Now, I've transferred to McMaster and was just wondering what your experience with Osap at McMaster was like last year?

When did you receive your osap last year? Are there still delays or do people pretty much go back to getting it on time once you get past handing the MSFA for the first time?

I'm just trying to gauge when osap may get deposited this year.

Hmm, if I can recall from last year, I think I received my osap around mid -september which is a bit later than usual since money is now deposited to your bank account instead of directly at student account. Because of this we had to pay for our tuition ourselves using the money from osap.
