Those last two look like they are from the trails in Cootes Paradise, a few minutes down the trail close to Brandon.

I agree, those pics are really gorgeous!!

Thanks for the comments! Surprisingly enough, all of these pictures were taken with a regular digital camera, and not even one of these new thin pocket ones. Mine is one of those thicker ones that I took from my mom a couple years ago. It just shows that it's not the camera that makes the photo, but the perspective and the eye of the photographer (plus help from nature).

And I encourage everyone to go outside for photo sessions while the leaves are still hanging and take photos of everything your eye likes.

side note: Don't be persuaded by marketing to think that you always have to buy the newest camera with the most megapixels and craziest useless accessories that you'll get bored of within 5 photos. Mine's probably 5 years old and you guys seem to like the photos, you know?

I totally agree! I work at a camera store, and of course the newer cameras are really good but some features like more megapixels don't always make a difference, sometimes you just have to know what you're doing. I have even taken some pretty decent photos from my 2 MP cell phone camera before.

I have been wanting to shoot some photos around campus and keep putting it off! I really like the one with the little gargoyles, the one with the beard and the one reading, where was that taken?

They're part of the outside wall that connect Gilmour Hall and University Hall. Just look up.

hey Man that's an awesome collection.I do have one trail I would love to have pictures of(I go on that trail once a week for Hill running with the varsity track team so I've seen the transition from summer to fall in front of my eyes!) I didn't a bring a camera with me to mac soo Can't take them..
The trail starts from the carpark near les prince...or to the left of the one acre fields(the rugby fields) and if you go straight down it, it ends at churchill park....It'll take around 10 minz but it'll be worth it when you see up/downsloping trails paved with orange leaves, It's a sight!
So do post them if you go down there someday!
thanks

Awesome photos Mike! Nice work with the wide angle lens. I never knew BSB could look so nice What cam you using? And I have the same question... when did you take those because there's no people in the pics!! Really neat with no people so you can focus on the architecture or the nature bits.

Here's some of my favs:

Crazzzzy

Some strange shaped leaves, where are these?

haha, gotta like this one

I like this one, really makes BSB look amazing
