I took this course last year, and loved it! I found it to be fairly easy (but I know some who didn't do too well on the final exam, especially since there was more memorization needed for it), but also really interesting. The professor was really friendly and accommodating. The course load wasn't too bad, though I don't remember what it was exactly. I know there was a paper, at least one midterm, tutorial grade, and the final exam (I just can't remember if there was two midterms or not).
One of my favourite parts about this class was that the professor didn't expect everyone to have huge amounts of prior knowledge on the subject of films, the Bible, or even Judaism or Christianity. This makes it good for people who are interested in the course, but don't know too much about the subject before going in.
Edit: For the exam, she gave us a list of words to know to help us study. I took the list, studied them, and then made a crossword out of it. For example, some of the words were major actor's names in the movies we watched, so the hint would be the character's name, and the answer would be the actor's actual name. I found this to be incredibly helpful for me during the exam. And most of the questions on the exam (if not all, I can't remember exactly) were multiple choice, and a lot of them were similar to the questions I put for my crossword.
