Full courses??
I'm having trouble finding who to contact to request a spot to be opened up for me. Can anyone tell me who to contact if I want Physics 1L03 and Bio 1M03?

A lot of people tend to register in both of those courses, so more seats should open. Just keep trying

There might not be actually room in these courses. There's currently not even enough room for all first year students to take 30 units due to an unexpectedly high number of students actually confirming their offers of admission. The University is currently trying to figure out how to fix this.

I heard this too, did mcmaster say something about it, or is it just a rumor?

Not a rumour. They are currently discussing alternatives and are running them past the MSU. Many of the alternatives are simply unacceptable and this has been conveyed to the University.

That doesn't affect the number of students in the incoming class (although it may be true), that just pushes up the cut off.

The University sends out a given number of acceptances each year based on how many spaces they have (there is a little bit of wiggle room) and how many students are expected to accept their offers and come to mac. ~9.8% more students accepted than expected. Mac is the only University that had this problem this year.

Is it required for you or are you taking them as electives? There's still plenty of time for spots to open up, especially after sectioning and even through the first 2 weeks or so of school.

Isn't registration for those courses closed until 1st year registration is open (which is why all 1st year courses show up as FULL right now)?

There are a certain amount of seats opened for upper years but yes for the most part they are reserved for first years. All seats should be opened to everyone when SOLAR reopens after sectioning.
