From funeral home to student housing

I just find this weird. I guess because of the association with, well, death.

Whoo, ghost city.
It'd be awhile before I could fall asleep there.

If it's being run by Dundurn Property Management, then I wouldn't hold my breath. Lots of problems when they opened their "West Village Condos" (which they renamed to "West Village Suites" recently). Lets hope there's less problems with this one.
Note: How come the property has a huge FOR LEASE sign still on it??

Wasn't it something before it was a funeral home? I seem to recall I found it odd when it became a funeral home for the first time. But they are prime location, I guess...but still...kinda odd.

Ya, if it was bought by Dundurn then why is it showing as still for lease/sale? If they have plans for the building/land then they should take down the sign... since the land isn't for lease anymore... they are using it.
