So here's the story.
Since we moved into this house we rented, the washing machine never really worked. So yeah. We never really went down there.
Cue January. We haven't been in the basement for months (for said washing machine issue). We weren't planning on signing the lease again so the landlord would be bringing in potential leasers.
Today she comes up after showing the visitors the basement and was like.
"Jeff. There's some sewage backed up in the basement."
"Oh. Well, we actually haven't been there in a while. Siva mentioned that he couldn't get the washing machine to work. So yeah, you should probably ask him about it."
"Oh okay. Well I'll get someone to go downstairs tomorrow to see if he could clean it up and fix it."
So I was under the assumption that maybe the basement was flooded again and there was something wrong with the washing machine...
After she leaves I go downstairs to check it out.
There is crap.
All over the floor.
Chunks of crap.
And toilet paper.
From god knows how long.
Huge ass chunks of our crap.
Crap.
Crap.
Toilet paper and Crap.
Maybe it's the cold or something, or maybe they've been down there so long that we didn't even notice a smell.
But Crap.
Oh god...
Crap everywhere...
It's everywhere...
Crap...
We're currently residing on a massive pile of our Crap...
