Per capita still doesn't matter. Why? Because in US, there is greater poverty, gang activities, etc... Many factors excluding guns contribute to higherher murder,

You know why guns are needed ? It's to make sure the government doesn't go tyrannical. Once you take guns from people you take away their freedom and ability to fight. This is why US founding fathers made the Second admendment. They knew the Congress would eventually go corrupt.

So hey Nostradamus what's next ? Alcohol causes lots of deaths and harm. Should it be banned ?

To Mica : You vote because you can ? Polls are going to look good ? Yeah and if the gov. of hamilton f up, the people would be at fault too for voting.

You're all so angry. xD
I voted for the first time today I think it's exciting.

Politicians hardly do what they promise during their campaigns, anyway, so I don't get too worked up over the system and getting angry at people who don't vote.

p.s. if anything I think the lack of information is to be blamed for why people don't vote. I didn't have time to watch the whole official debate, and I don't want to searching tirelessly through the internet to find each of the candidate's campaign sites (some of them don't even have one). There should be one unbiased information source that lays out all the information straight and simple so that people can make an informed decision It would save both time and stress and I'm sure a lot more people would vote if they knew who they actually wanted to vote for.
