Problem solving skills?
There's no set protocol, buddy.
Look at the situation you're in and think of possible people you could talk to (which depends on a number of factors that you haven't addressed), and then talk to them.

It's not TA's job to monitor his email box and respond to all the questions you guys have. He only does his TA duties at assigned times.

Why not ask others in your class if you have questions about the assignment? If the TA isn't responding, i would think that your peers or the professor for the course is who you should be contacting. Seems like an obvious answer to me.
And also, kudos on your response to ralts. Nice seeing a troll quickly put in his place haha.

So he can answer questions. That doesn't mean he acts as a 24/7 support line.

Lol, I donot beleive kids these days. Not only do they wanna be spoon fed, they want the TAs and professors to make sure that they actually gulp as well.. Simply pathetic. Read the book, lecture slides, or anything at all!

TA doesnt respond to emails... did you go to their office hours or the profs office hours rather than sitting behind a computer screen and sending emails that won't be answered? If you have a bunch of questions that still arent answered for an assignment due this week, I'm guessing you are right screwed at this point haha. Work on your problem solving skills for the next assignment is all I can say. This isn't highschool where the teachers/assistants are gonna hold your hand every step of the way.
