Since we pay a portion of our tuition to the MSU every year, and the MSU can fund resources for homosexual students... I figured it'd be only fair if they funded a heterosexual students club as well...
Any thoughts?

I do not go to McMaster so I am not sure how people would react to a heterosexual group but here are my thoughts.
Homosexual students often feel judged and may be uncomfortable with their sexuality. Some homosexual students may need support from others and a homosexual student group provides the support they need in a friendly environment. Heterosexuality is perceived as being "the norm" so heterosexual students do not need support for their sexuality. The idea of a heterosexual student group could also be taken the wrong way by some people and they would join because they could think it was an anti-homosexuality group.
