Humanities Faculty - Events and stuff!!
1. Glow-in-the-Dark Mini-Putt this friday night!! We're going to the
Putting Edge in Burlington where there'll be 18 holes of golf, pizza,
pop, etc-- all the things the best parties were made of in Grade 6
Seriously though it's only $10 for an awesome evening and lots of fun!
If you wanna check out the place the addresss is www.putting-edge.com

2. We've been challenged!! All Humanities students, faculty and staff:
Come out to the INTER-FACULTY BLOOD DONATION CHALLENGE on Monday
September 25 and Wednesday the 27th in the MUSC. Donate blood on behalf
of your faculty and you'll help save a life, and show your Hummer pride!
Take part and make Humanities the faculty with the greatest
participation. Call 1-888-2DONATE to sign up for a time, I'll see you there!

3. Who wants free stuff?! Stop by the Office (TSH B109a) and pick up
some free swag. We've got shirts, laynards, visors and uhh
multi-purpose storage boxes (ok they're really disk cases but I know not
everyone, or anyone uses those things anymore, they're still dead useful
for organizing stuffs). Anywho just come by, maybe stay for a bit and
you can pick up some Humani-Swag!

4. Our annual Formal is coming up once again October Friday the 13th
(*insert spooky music here*) is the big day so watch out for tickets
coming soon! We're going to the beautiful Liuna Station right here in
Hamilton, you're not going to want to miss it!! And while we're on the
subject we're still looking for people to join the Social Committee that
helps plan some of our great events, as well as the Formal. If you're
more of a designer than a planner we've also got the Promotions
Committee that's looking for volunteeers. If any of this sounds good
just email us at mcmaster.humanities.s [email protected]

5. While we're mentioning the electronic communications did you know
that we're rocking the technology with our LiveJournal, mac_humanities,
our website, http://www.humanities.mcmast er.ca/~mhs/ and even good ole
FaceBook Just search for McMaster Humanities Society and you'll be
able to hook up with all our great members. So this said you can get
additional updates through any of these venues.
