I heard the same thing as Simon, they basically shift the exams. So Mondays exam shifts to Tuesday and so on..
Keep checking the mcmaster website and their twitter page tomorrow morning. I think they also announce it on CHCH early on in the morning.

Some evening exams have been cancelled. My 7:30-9:30 in the Mohawk building on campus was cancelled. Email from the prof:
"I have been advised by the associate dean that the exam is cancelled due to the severe weather conditions. The exam will be rescheduled ASAP and the information regarding the rescheduled time will be issued hopefully by Monday."

It would probably not shift in this situation, because the storm wasn't expected to hit for the whole day, so you'd have half-rescheduled stuff at odd times.
But it's good that things are being worked out, make sure if you have a mac email address it's set up properly.. |

That's pretty unfair to cancel some exams, but not others... Either cancel them all or don't cancel any.
edit: I'm talking about the 7:30 ones btw.. |

Apparently my program was the first to be notified and other people's emails are just starting to come in. |

I guess since the 7:30 exam is cancelled we now have a thread on this topic for future reference. I had a feeling the snow was going to be bad today. I'm disappointed they didn't cancel my 9am exam. The roads were a lot worse in oakville/Burlington/Hamilton, it was a struggle to drive down from Mississauga.

I called the university and was advised that all exams are a go, and they haven't received notification of any cancellations. I think it is unfair to cancel some and not others - must have been a one off call from your faculty - lucky.
