MacInsiders Helping With Disorientation Week Video
If you haven't yet, grab the latest edition of The Silhouette which just went on news stands today and open up to the President's Page. Ryan Moran explains about Disorientation Week and some of the things to look forward to. One of these will be a video where we need your help! MacInsiders will be going around getting student's advice, tips, and messages to incoming first year students. It will work similar to a "Speakers Corner" style impromptu opportunity, and the footage will be compiled and edited into a segment that will be viewable by first years. It's a great opportunity to let incoming students know some of the things you wish you would have been told when you were in first year!
More details will come as we get closer to the date. The initiative is being spearheaded by Ryan Moran.
Opinion Piece by Matt Dugdale Worth A Read
Once again, this week's Sil has something you should take a look at, but this is on the satirical entertainment side. Matt Dugdale, MSU presidential candidate, has had a humorous opinion piece printed in this week's edition near the back (oddly right before The Speculator, which I assumed it would have been in). Dugdale's piece goes into detail about how he has declared himself President of the MSU and his plans on converting MSU services to aid in his empire. Check it out!
