If it was me, I wouldn't have stood up  . Not saying that I would yawn that loud in the first place, but if the professor makes that big of a deal out of a yawn, I'd be scared of what he'd do/say to me =/.

i actually applaud this professor, it wasn't just yawning it was pretty obvious that the person was doing it on purpose, there's no need for people like that in a class where hundreds of students are trying to learn

Well if the person yawning was doing this on purpose ... Then he/she should stop.
If it was because long hours of studyIng, school work etc.. Then the person yawning should go fuk the brains out of that prof ..

Ironically I got accepted to Cornell but couldn't really afford it despite a partial scholarship so came to Mac Instead, that school seems to overall be on the edge when it comes to stress. They have this famous bridge where multiple people jump off and commit suicide into the ravine.
