Oh, and I'm a Life Sciences student.

Are your parents just uncomfortable with you being in a co-ed residence?

I dont mean to be rude or anything
but if ur parents think ur *safer*( for a lack of a better word) in an all girls residence then that makes no sense...
ur going to be living in residence with a dozen other buildings where there ARE guys
so unless the campus it self is an all girls campus then there really is no difference in an all girls residence or a co-ed one
unless there's a mad strict policy im not aware of

It's more of the difference of being NOT surrounded by guys 24/7 rather than what you said, but I get where you're coming from.
I suppose it's because I'm the first to go, they're slightly over-protective...

Haha, no need to apologize! I'd love to live on rez as well, but it's slightly unsettling to live co-ed when I don't even have any close friends who are guys, so...

B probably stands for basement, but C actually stands for which bed you're in. C is a top bunk, the loft one with the desk underneath.

Definitively sounds like it means basement. I'll let someone else who knows answer the second part of that question.

Question: How does the bathroom system work?
Do you have seperate washrooms, or is it more communal? The showers I mean.
