Haha, but then you have these complicated pieces of clothes that you can't tell if it should be in white or colours. I have three shirts that are mostly gray, but have a splash of colour on the front - I usually stand for a while trying to figure out where I should put it.

I just checked out the website and the mentoring program. I'm thinking of signing up for it. I like helping people and I think it would be a great experience to help someone new to the Country adjust to life at Mac.
Thanks for the info.

Yeah my friend really enjoyed it. She was looking to improve her conversational french as well so I think she was able to specify the types of international students she would like to work with.
I think it would be a really good experience CSD just rocks in general.

Ahem, I think a peer mentoring service is also in place by the International student services office which is located in Gilmour Hall and is open everyday for you to drop by with any question you might have!
But I think that peer mentoring service is based more for people from a certain country mentoring people from a certain country

Good to know. I'm not in Hamilton anyway though so I couldn't just drop by.
I came to Mac the other day though to go to the Registrar's office. It was nice to be back for a little bit. Mac <3 Brampton sucks, no jobs, boring Summer.

I know I'm finding summer soooo boring without a job. Being near campus is great... campus is really pretty at this time of year, when it's not raining!
The arts quad construction is REALLY annoying though.

I saw the construction, it looked messy. I was like, what are they doing to my precious Arts Quad, lol.
Recession hate, I wish I had a full time job like last Summer.

*sigh* same here no jobs at all! I only got one interview at a shoe store and I was up against girls with 5+ years of retail experience who were competing with me, no chance there then :(
The only reason I am surviving is doing mental amounts of work for my MSU positions :S Hooray for being involved

But If you really want to do the Oompah Loompah Dance, you have to hang out with Oompah's who obviously being Oompah Lompahs enjoy doing the dance. Case and point an organizations like Ismaili, Pakistani, Hindu and Afro Carribean students association who come Spring/Second term will often be found in large groups dancing/preparing into the wee hours of the night playing music rather loudly in the student centre main atrium, rooms or upper hallways; In preparation for a number of cultural, talent shows that happen at Mac in March/Feb. Hence if so inclined you can make your way into these organizations(obvious ly depending on your background) which are more akin to close knit communities. However once you are in there it isn't that different from any subculture on campus and you have to start facing the "large girls group highschool mentality" that you mentioned in an earlier post and other such stuff/cons.
Or was that just an Analogy? :S
How do I know that? Well I have this brilliant tendency of writing my essays on the last day at the student centre from 12am-6am :(

Just meant they should do what they love as long as we all respect each other
And if an international student or any student finds themselves in a group of mean friends, they shouldn't stay. They should find other people who accept them

Oh on your profile it said third and I wasn't sure if you meant going into 3rd or going into 4th.
