Kettles?
Just wanted to clarify if kettles are allowed inside your rooms?

no they are not, there are some in the common room for everyone to ue HOWEVER, i suggest risking it n bringing ur own bc the ones there are like 20 years old n are sooo gross

Oh dang, what else can you do about water then? Bring cases of water bottles? o_o

I couldn't find the information, but I do know that all appliances that have an open heating element is not allowed to be used inside your room. Not all kettles have an open heating element though.

Also, just because you can't use it in your room doesn't mean you can't have it in your room. As long as you don't use it in your room you'll be fine.

you don't need to bring in cases of water, just buy a brita

and if you need/want hot water, just use the kettles in the kitchen or bring your own

Your CA's care. I'd recommend keeping it inside your room and taking the 5 min walk to heat your water in the common room. Simple question: If your fuse blows, does your room have a fire extinguisher? Your common room does.
