Know what's actually the poorest/most boring 'bird course' ever?
Science 2B03 - Big Questions.
Bad organization, bad TAs, boring boring boring boring boring. Oh, and because the professor is some kind of paranoid spaz, the lectures have all pictures removed from them. So even if you attended lecture, you still won't remember whatever the **** it is you were looking at.
I'd rather do more actual physics than sit through this quasi-memorization drivel.
OH GOOD, THE NIGHT SKY SPARKLES!

Kinda.
1. Presentation, which the TAs actually tell you will be 'marked down' so later it can be 'marked up' (???bellcurving???).
2. "Journals" on no specific basis ('just do them by November, hurrrr').
3. Forced "participation for marks" BS that is quite frankly the most annoying crap ever. |

1) Thats just whacked
2) That sounds like something Id end up doing the week they are due
3) Participation marks are stupid in general. But I guess they are easy marks in a way

i dont even want to study for this exam
i keep reading my notes and then get bored from the lack of pictures and interesting material
i thought this class was going to be so much more considering i love space so much
but nope, looks like i just wasted a whole semester

No really, I took Anthro 1Z03 on a whim, then when I realized that I can learn anything offered by that faculty and all the others (except for science and engineering) in half the time and with zero of the stress, I dropped it.

I have a feeling I wont study for this, way too boring.

Same.
I even tried doing it backwards, then I realized it makes zero sense backwards, and that I was just 'looking' at it. I literally don't care at this point, I'm just going to study for cell biology and wing this POS final for this POS course. |

Haha, I'm definitely only studying for this exam tomorrow. Content is pretty simple to me, I didn't bother going to lecture for the past few weeks though. And I can't wait to get cell biology over with....hate that course.

I agree. I hate when profs/TAs say "As long as you talk about something in tutorial, you'll get marks." Why?? What is the point of this. I learn nothing from hearing other students' opinions, or by stating my own. |
