Less than 4.0 GPA in 2nd year engineering
Hi guys my GPA is less than 4.0 CA. The advisor told me that you will be asked to leave engineering. And that you can apply for reinstatement and that it is not guaranteed. Could anyone please tell me if I do get reinstatement do I come back to school or have to take a year off ?? Thanks

If you can't do well enough in 2nd year to stay in, why do you want to continue? 3rd and 4th year are harder, and nobody's going to want to hire an engineer with terrible marks.

Senior years aren't harder, depending on the program.

I know plenty of people who somehow did co-op and got hired with terrible marks. (but now that I think of it, all of them were chicks... so either the employers were filling some diversity quotas, or those chicks were.... eh.. gifted)
