It actually is better this year...you only have to log in to MUGSI gateway once, and there's no cap on that, nor does it automatically log you out. So you're pretty much just fighting for SOLAR, not getting onto MUGSI + logging in + getting automatically signed out + SOLAR 
Also every single course I wanted was available. I had nine electives. SOLAR wouldn't let me register for more than six...but they were all available |

I love when McMaster doesn't allow you to register for a course, despite you fulfilling the pre-req -_-. Another gold star for Mac. Sigh.

Even though it isnt my day, i have logged in and out of solar since midnight on every try. Then again, i am super lucky with solar and always get in at midnight :s

I was pleasantly surprised! You dont have to fight for MUGSI anymore, just SOLAR and maybe they increased the capacity or changed servers or something, cause it was a little more smooth from what I heard from all my friends. Haven't heard of any weird errors or blue screens... yet?

I started at 11:55, tried until 12:45 and gave up and went to sleep because I had work in the morning. But I set my alarm for 4am, woke up logged in on the first go and finished at 4:08 and went back to sleep. Only had 1 elective which was full, Media 1B03, but no suprise there.

started at 12, didnt get in until 1 and then a manditory course was full. Guess im not graduating...
