This is a pretty tough question. I mean Life Sci 2G03 was an interesting course but so was Life Sci 2G03. Honestly go with whichever fits your timetable.

Danielrus, raganyap, shelbs like this.

Course Breakdown for LIFE SCI 2G03:
9 Quizzes 1% each (Lowest mark dropped)
2 Movie reviews 5% each
3 Tests 18% each
1 Test that is optional 8%
One minute genetics assignment 18%
Learning portfolio 2%

I found this class difficult to do well in although the course load was very light, not a lot of material. It was all about patterns of inheritance and calculating probabilities. This class had a lot of opportunities to do well in, but not a lot of resources to help you. There is no textbook and the prof does not give you practice questions even though the 90% of the class is based on calculations. However, you do have the quizzes (8-10 questions each) which are meant to help you prepare for the tests. Because this is a new class, it is very disorganized. Even though the quizzes are supposed to help you, we never got the answers to the quizzes or not until the night before the tests so it was very hard to see where you went wrong and improve on. The prof (Dr. Dej) was very difficult to reach. The syllabus was useless because dates changed constantly. That was annoying especially when you have other tests or assignments to prepare for.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty interesting class and we were able to apply what we have learned to real life scenarios. However, keep in mind that it is a new class and things are all over the place.
