Life Sciences Timetable
Hi,

I am a first year student. I just had a question about my timetable for life sciences. Could you please help me out with picking my 12 units from the course list below. Moreover, which teachers would you recommend for each course that I am taking?

These are the mandatory courses that I am taking:
Calculus for Science I-MATH 1A03
Cell & Mol Biology-BIOLOGY 1A03
Intro Chemistry I-CHEM 1A03
Introductory Physics-PHYSICS 1A03

These are the 12 Units of a Level 1 Sciences Course List that I have to choose from:
Biodiversity Evolution and Humanity- BIOLOGY 1M03
Biophysics:Movements & Senses-BIOPHYS 1S03
Intro Chemistry II- CHEM 1AA3
Climate, Water And Environment-ENVIRSC 1C03
Earth & The Environment- ENVIRSC 1G03
Physics In MedicineBiol I- MEDPHYS 1E03
Introduction To Modern Physics- PHYSICS 1AA3
Modern Physics:ChemPhys Sci- PHYSICS 1CC3
Intro to Psych, Neuroscience & Behaviour-PSYCH 1X03

I am thinking of taking:
Biodiversity Evolution and Humanity- BIOLOGY 1M03
Intro Chemistry II- CHEM 1AA3
Intro to Psych, Neuroscience & Behaviour-PSYCH 1X03

However, I don't know which last course to take for these 12 units, could you please help me out with this and which course you think would be the best course to take? Also, for all the courses I am taking which teachers do you think are the best?

I don't know what site you're using but this is what is required for first year life sciences. I think the link you're using is really outdated.

Essentially whats required is both Biologies, one Psych, one Math, one Physics, 3 Science courses and 2 Electives. So you already have both Biologies, one Psych, one Math, one Physics, and 2 Sciences courses and no electives. Take a look at the site that I've linked above for the Science I courses as there's actually more options there compared to the list you're using.

For electives I recommend taking courses from outside the Sciences as there's lots of interesting courses including those in topics of Philosophy, Linguistics, Business, English, French, Music, Economics, etc. Find something that interests you! You can also take more science courses with your elective spaces if you really want though.

Also forgot to add that you should also take a look at the requirements of your desired second year program to make sure that your choices will allow you to be admitted to those programs and if there are any other additional requirements. For example if a program were to require something like "Completion of Math 1B03 by the end of Level II" then it would be preferable to take it while you're in first year to get it out of the way.
