I had Moro and Kucerova for 1A03 and 1AA3 respectively, but I've had Anderson for psycholingustics and child language acquisition and I think she's really good at explaining the concepts in a clear, concise way. The only thing is that she does have tricky tests. However, the classes I had her for had written components. For first-year linguistics, it's different because it's just memorizing the concepts and applying them, so I don't think the tests could possibly be all too hard if you know what you're doing. I would recommend the course with her, for sure!

I had Dr. Moro for 1A03 and Dr. Stroinska for 1AA3. I'm about to have Dr. Anderson for Psycholinguistics and Child Language Acquisition. I heard she is a great prof and explains the course materials really well. So well that you can understand what she is teaching you very clearly. I also heard from my friends who had them that she does give hard tests and also quite a hard marker.

Having her for 1A03 wouldn't be too bad since (as mentioned by the above post) that you just memorized the concept and applying them in exercises and test. There is nothing too elaborate in this course and I would recommend this class for sure.

If you are truly interested with this course then I would also recommend taking 1AA3 as well.
