Never rented through them, but Enterprise generally has better rates for those aged 21-25, which being MacInsiders, I assume you fall into that category... I REALLY hope you're seriously not asking to rent random peoples' cars.

... did somebody mention S/C? :

Rent that. But cost wise you're going to have to buy me a 2004 GTO. 5.7L 6-speed.

Enterprise wouldn't rent to me as someone under age 25 without my own car insurance policy with dedicated rental coverage on it. They won't let you buy insurance from them (ie. you can't rent from Enterprise unless you already own your own car). They also have a pretty aweful reputation for charging customers for incredibly minor/invented damage on cars as a way to make money (for example, see http://www.failingenterprise .com/forums/index.php).

I rent pretty frequently, and in Hamilton, I've had very good dealings with Budget downtown (the one on the mountain sucks customer service wise, but the guys downtown are great). Usually budget isn't that cheap, but the location at 273 (i think) Main St E. has great rates. In other cities, I've had good luck with Thrifty.

If you do rent a car, check out http://www.rentalcarmomma.co m/canada.htm and pick your location and rental company. Most of the big name renal agencies have deals with that website where they give you discounts if you reserve through their link. You can pretty consistently get 20% off or better.
