I'm thinking of taking this next year as an elective, can anyone who have taken this last year write a review for this class?

Thank you !

i dunno about writing a review, but it was a great course with pincivero.

very easy, 2 midterms (30% each) and a final 40%, and an optional (easy but long) 15% assignment. If you do the assignment, you take 5% off of each exam.

the lectures were pretty unstructured (pincivero tends to go on tangents), but the questions were very fair and the material is interesting and easy for anyone with a solid background in bio.

i recommend this course to one and all! best elective ever.

This is the only elective I'm dying to take next year, so I'm really hoping to get it, and I'm glad to hear such positive feedback!

Seriously. Take this course. Probably the easiest course I've taken in undergrad, and more importantly, it's actually useful. Helps to understand exercise habits, how to burn fat, when to eat, what to eat, etc. Also discusses diseases that are rather common like heart disease, arterio- and athero-sclerosis, diabetes, etc. So good.
