Mac LAN Club is hosting a LAN Tournament!

Counter Strike 1.6 and Warcraft 3: DOTA

$8 Entry Fee! CASH Prizes! Computers PROVIDED!

Saturday March 7th, 12noon to 6pm. BSB Computer Lab rm241

Only 28 seats available so buy your ticket early!

The computers in the new BSB computer lab rm 244 (48 tickets available for sale now!) have Intel ~3ghz core duos with DEDICATED ati radeon HD ~3500 graphics cards, DVI output to 19inch LCDS. They beat the pants off almost any laptop you can throw at it.

Local Area Network
Its when a bunch of computers are wired together using Network switches, without internet.

LAN = Local Area Network

It is like a system that links together computers, and forms a network within an room or building.
