IT'S BACK! Our 5th Annual MacInsiders Social Event will take place
Thursday, September 12th 2013 at Kelseys Bar & Grill (Main & Longwood).
The MacInsiders Social event is a casual, annual event that is put on by the MacInsiders team and is a chance for you to meet new friends and enjoy icebreaker games, food, and contests with MacInsiders Staff and fellow MacInsiders Users. Putting faces to usernames, and meeting members in-person!
During the event you will:- Enjoy dinner at Kelseys with the MacInsiders Team
- Meet fellow MacInsiders members and be introduced to the new 2013-14 MacInsiders staff.
- Network with new friends from your faculty and classes
- Participate in icebreaker and mingle games to make sure you get to meet new people, and make new friends
Plus we have:
- Karaoke (an optional singing contest... the mic is open to anyone!)
- Prize giveaways throughout the night
- 50% OFF WINGS at Kelseys that night
- Bar and drink menu available
NOTE: You can use your student meal card to purchase food

6pm-7pm: MacInsiders Dinner (come and enjoy dinner with MacInsiders members!)
7:30pm: Event begins with icebreaker and mingle games
9pm: Karaoke open mic

HOW TO GET THERE
BUS/HSR: YES! There is an HSR bus that can drop you off right at the Main/Longwood corner.
GROUP MEET-UP ON-CAMPUS:
Yes, we will have a meeting spot on campus early at 5pm if you would like to go down to Kelseys on the HSR bus as a group. Join the group there to go down with everyone to Kelseys. You can also catch a bus back into McMaster Campus which runs throughout the evening and is right across the street from the Kelseys location.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE DINNER: A MacInsiders staff member will be standing in front of COMPASS in the Student Centre between 5:00-5:40pm to go down to Kelseys for 6pm.
IF YOU'RE GOING TO THE PARTY ONLY: A MacInsiders staff member will be standing in front of COMPASS in the Student Centre between 6:40-7:00pm. To arrive at Kelseys by 7:20pm.

RSVP TO GET PRIZE TICKETS
To RSVP,
visit our RSVP system and enter your information. Only those on the RSVP list will be let into the venue first in order of who gets in line first. The venue has a capacity that always gets reached each year, so please arrive early to ensure you can get in before we reach max capacity. Those that come late may have to wait in line outside the event room, or wait upstairs in the Kelseys Bar or Restaurant area until more space is available downstairs.
PRIZES will be drawn for at the event using 'prize tickets'. Those on the RSVP list will be given prize tickets upon arrival. Those not on the RSVP list will not get the prize tickets... so make sure you RSVP!
