I took it last year with Mills. I got a 11 in the course. It was fairly easy overall. You had like, one assignment based off a reading (it's sorta, kinda, like an essay - you had to describe the article and argue a specific point), you had a in tutorial presentation based off the selected readings - you'd have to relate it to yourself or a family member in the workplace, describe key terms, etc, then a huge portion of your marks came from tutorials. If you're not big on speaking in these classes, you'd probably have a harder time getting an A - but she did give us the option of being able to write out notes regarding the readings, but you'd get a better mark doing both, iirc. Then you'd have a final exam, just based off the readings and lectures. She told us what readings to focus on for the final as well.
As for markings, it just depends on how hard your TA is, I suppose.
Overall fairly enjoyable class, but if you don't like the material being covered, you probably will have a harder time talking about it in tutorial.
