Dec 25 onwards was a holiday. I was wondering about that as well.. maybe it's done automatically? I remember a bunch of marks coming out during the holiday last year. None this year though =/

I have four.... The only one I'm still waiting on is my second exam which was all Multiple Choice.
Am I the only one though that feels that something should be done about the very annoying period of wait for grades? Is this something that students feel should be raised with the University?

It wouldn't matter. There's no legitimate incentive other than the fact that students are impatient.
And I'm sure there are reasons as to why they are delayed, given, the reasons might be as legitimate as the incentive to fix the problem.
I <3 University.

I'm sure there's an argument to be made about anxiety for marks. This year has been good to me... Last year I had to wait so long I was getting very worried. I would at least think you should have to have the marks in before you start your next courses in case you do not achieve the mark you need in a prerequesite. I'm also not sure how I got marks uploaded AFTER the holidays started. I'm not entirely convinced everything at the university is closed.

I agree with the part about prereqs. For some classes, you need a certain mark in a prereq in order to get in to the next class. I wish I knew my marks sooner after exams so I could play around on SOLAR and try to fix it during the holidays. I get into a bit of a panic when I find out on like January 7 that I have to find another course within a week and have to switch everything around.

Is that in writing? I've looked at the registrars website and they say grades are released 23rd onwards. Nothing that says nothing during this week.
Back up your statements.

Some people have had marks released over the break, so I'm kind of sketchy about the whole "not-til-the-3rd" thing.

Nowhere on the registrar site (link) does it mention anything about the 3rd, only that the marks start being released on the 23rd. I certainly hope all marks are available by the 3rd though.
However I imagine any MC exams should have their marks up by 2 weeks after the exam, as the union that runs the scantrons through the grading machine has only 14 days to do so under union regulations.

The last official day for the registrar's grade release is Jan 4th, according to one of my professors.

I remember I didn't receive my mark for SFWR ENG 2S03 until around the 10th last year.
That exam was a hand written one I had done at 9:00 AM on the 22nd of December.
