Thank you! A little rusty in certain aspects, so that'll definitely help.

Hey Kevin,

Chemistry will post review quizzes on webCT once you get access to it. For physics, browse around this physics 1B03 site. The first few chapters we go over in that class is high school review (mechanics i.e. kinematics and dynamics) so you should be able to complete it.

Hope that helped.

from page four of the manual:
"This booklet will help prepare you for academic life as a first year University student, and in particular, for the first year courses in mathematics that you will take"

So yes, it will be useful for you

The quizzes are on webCT, which you'll get access to when school starts. You spend an entire week or so going over 'assumed knowledge' from high school before going into the textbook material.

Hi Anitaa - this manual goes over math that you should know before going on in university (that is, if you need math, or need to take math in whatever is you are planning to major in, like science, eng, buisness, ect)

The goal of it is to get you on the right track, to transition from math that you were doing in highschool, to math that you will be doing in university. I do not believe it is intended for a specific course, but my guess is that the focus will be on subjects that you take in first year, like calculus or statistics.

I hope this answered your question,
