MI Meet Up!

So we know that you guys love hanging out on MacInsiders, but how about hanging out with your fellow MacInsiders users in a slightly different setting? It wasn't too long ago that we had our annual MI Social, which was awesome. In fact, almost immediately people were asking when we could host another one.

The MI Meetups are like a smaller version of that- usually it involves getting dinner or drinks at a restaurant, like BP, 1280, or Bridges.

This one will be held at Wednesday, October 20th- 7:30 pm at East Side Mario's. The location is 119 Osler Dr, Hamilton (or right by University Plaza). Any bus heading West on Main can take you there.

Can't wait to see you guys there!

PS If there's enough interest we can organize heading over as a group again, so let us know!

+1 for leaving as a group, because being the first there is kind of weird, as is being late and having missed the ice being broken during the trip.

I guess it's not too bad since we all sort of met last month but for any newcomers it can be kind of intimidating.

I'm a new comer, and I don't mind walking in by myself

I tend to be ridiculously early for things. Like 40 minutes early for appointments. One day I was 4 hours early (don't ask). I'm used to the awkward. Feel free to join me on the dark side. Still not 100% sure if I'll be there or not but if I am...I'll be ridiculously early.

Edit: I would still like to head over as a group.

What time are we meeting as a group? My initial thought was 7:30, but I assume that's the time we expect to arrive at ESM

Probably only staying an hour and half or so.

Also, never eaten at ESM. How much money should I bring?

For an appetizer, maybe. I'd say $20 is safe for a full meal + tax + tip (without a drink) though.
