how much overlap is there between Bio 2B03 & 2C03?

And is one "tougher" than the other in terms of grasping concepts?

I would say not much overlap at all, they are very different. 2B03 is more memorize the details of different signal transduction pathways and be able to reiterate it, while 2c03 is a lot more conceptual, requiring more understanding of the material in order to apply it.

Since 2b03 is not very conceptual, I would say 2C03 would be "tougher", but neither are that tough in my opinion.

im not a bio major so i dont necessarily need both.
Hmm, it seems like genetics is the wiser choice?

cell bio sounds like i'd forget a lot of the stuff the moment i walk out of the exam

i found genetics far more interesting than cell bio. however because i took a lot of the upper mol bio courses (ex. 3h03, 3hh3, 4h03, 3m03) i found cell bio to be more useful. but if you're not a bio major then yes genetics would by far be the wiser choice!

I would consider 2B03 as "tougher" just because I spent so much time studying for it. 2C03 was so much "easier", I barely did anything for that course. Assignments and read the book, didn't "study" just went over the slides once or twice.

2B03 is pure memorization whereas 2C03 actually has some thinking involved. I found 2C03 to be more enjoyable.

There's no overlap that I can recall anyway. Bio 2B03 is all about pathways and memorization while genetics is about concepts and different case studies and whatnot. Bio 2C03 on the other hand, is a little more application. Personally, I found Bio 2C03 more difficult but it really depends on you and what you're interested in.
