I'm currently a 2nd year commerce student but i'm considering transferring to multimedia next year. I didn't perform so well at 1st year so the average grade was just like slightly above 5 (including summer course) I'm eligible to apply for multimedia but i'm quite not sure if i can get enrolled in...

So how many students are in multimedia program(specifically, 2nd year)? the acceptance rate?

When I was taking the MMEDIA 1A03 course last year, I was told by the TA that in order to be guaranteed into the program, I had to get at least an A- in the course.

The program has a very limited enrolment--if lets say 200 students apply, only about 50 students actually get enrolled...so it's pretty competitive. Right now, our 2nd year multimedia class is around 50 students. It's a small class, which is great.
