Mysterious deaf person at Thode
Has anyone encountered this mysterious looking deaf man at Thode?
Think I'm crazy? Read on...
I was studying a week ago at Thode on the second floor (at the far study carrels). I was on my laptop and listening to music. All of a sudden, I have someone tapping on my shoulder quite a few times. At first, I didn't notice it because I was listening to music, but after a few taps, I noticed it. I looked back, and I see a middle aged man smiling at me. It was pretty scary. Anyways, he put a card in front of my face (literally). The card reads:
"Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
[Santa Clause image]
Ladies & Gentlemen:
I am a deaf person selling
these cards for a living.
PAY ANY PRICE.
THANK YOU FOR
YOUR KINDNESS"
At the back of the card it has words translated into sign language.
Anyways, at first I didn't realize that he was deaf, so I continuously asked him what he needed. He just kept smiling. I then read the card, and found out he was deaf. So I decided to give him a Tonnie. I was in the Christmas spirit I guess...
But that's not all...
When I was leaving Thode to go to class, I encountered him again, and he started smiling at me. This time, it looked like he was trying to hold his laugh. It looked very suspicious...
So, has anyone encountered this dude? Did I get scammed?
...and no I'm not going crazy, and this wasn't a dream.

I was going post this here the day this happened to me, but it totally slipped my mind. I just found the card he gave me, so I thought I'd post it now.
