Has anyone ordered anything from NCIX in their new toronto locations yet? Seems like Canada Computers might lose their GTA-wide monopoly.

Regardless though, competition will be better for us consumers since there will be better deals and cheaper prices. CC has bumped their prices down already to compete with NCIX and NCIX has this new price matching program which seems to be targetting their lowered prices. The months ahead should be interesting to watch

For those who are gamers or enthusiasts, I suggest you subscribe to NCIX weekly mail. They have amazing deals for select items, and 15-20% reduced prices on most things. It was a turn off for me since it was shipping out from Alberta, but since they are in Toronto now, it seems worth while.

As for CC, check out their front pages now, they are having some crazy hot deals because of the pressure.

Sort of an old thread, but I used NCIX near the start of the year to order a D-Link Gigabit switch for my house. It arrived in like 3 days, which was awesome. Their warehouse is in Markham, which is close to my hometown of Whitby. They are a pretty good site, however I still find that for certain items going into a shop is cheaper.
