is it necessary to have a conflict free timetable
Currently I have a math lab and elec eng (level 2) core at the same time. However, i dont think i would need to attend math labs as for first year, I never had to. Can i still work things out with a sectional conflict or does it necessarily have to be a conflict free timetable?

Also does anyone know if attendance is mandatory for MATH 2Z03 labs (level 2), for engineering?

Math labs for 2Z03 are not mandatory, but that is where you pick up assignments or get help with MatLab assignments (like Maple from first year). There are a million labs so I am not sure why it is a conflict, but it is not the worst thing to happen.

If you can't get it sorted out then I wouldn't worry too much about it

I could have it sorted out, however, that is a lot of trouble as a lot of core/labs/tuts that do matter would have to be rearranged over again.

I have the math lab from 8:30-10:20am and the Elec Eng core only at 9:30-10:20am, so i do have an hour in between. Im only concerned about the attendance.

It won't me too much of a problem then. I went for help many times for matlab, but they didn't have attendance for it (I think I went to a different section before too)

You could always ask your professor before friday, and switch it around as needed, but I'm pretty sure math labs are not needed/mandatory.
