Hmm...nobody mentioned Chuck. I kinda like that one (in addition to several that others have mentioned).

Wasn't really a show, but a 13 episode miniseries that I thought was pretty good.

Harper's Island

I think it's still in its first season, but Call Me Fitz is hilarious.

Looks like the most obvious shows have all been mentioned, but I have an obscure great show to add:

Since it is a UK production, there were only 3 episodes in the first series.
BUT the second series will come out later this year with 3 more episodes.
& each episode was great! You should at least give the pilot a try.

So stay away from the worst and best shows on television, you might get too excited. Stick to the middling fare.

My folks watch criminal minds, and I caught an episode while I was there. Waste of ****ing time. It also doesn't help that every time I see Joe Mantegna, I think of Godfather 3 and get pissed off cuz it sucks so hard.

There's no plot, no character development. "Oh looks, here's a crime scene. Now, here's the crime scene solved!"

What crime show that just churns out murders has plot? Theres character development. I like it. Don't like the new one though.

CSI? You actually learn shit about their characters, and stuff happens between them/to them.
