This year the sections are completely full so you'll probably have more luck contacting the physics department since I doubt any students will drop it, good luck!

You're in Eng, so you're not even allowed to take 1B03 without special permission, which I'm 99.99% sure they won't give you, since you should already be in 1D03/1E03.

If you are taking it, I'm sure you have some sort of extenuating circumstances, in which case you should probs just talk to the Eng/Science advisors to make sure you're going about it the right way. I'm pretty confident they wouldn't make extenuating circumstances and not provide you a seat in 1B03 if you "needed" it for whatever reason.

I would contact the Physics office. In the first week or so some people may also drop out.

People will definitely drop during the first week. It always happens. And it can always be taken in summer school, which is what I did and I found it pretty easy.
