Off campus housing site help?
I was told that to post ads on off campus housing for student is free, but everytime I try to post it asks to purchase a package. Anyone have experience with this site?

It doesn't seem here like they're saying you can post for free as a student. Maybe post the room on kijiji/ads around the school instead?

You gotta pay to use their service. Only free ones are MacInsiders, Kijiji, Craigslist, and Facebook.

It's free to search existing ad postings. But if you want to post an ad yourself, you need to first create an account, purchase an ad package, and then use those credits you purchase to post an ad.

Student discount for posting
Hey there,

This Jennifer from the Off-Campus Resource Centre. Students receive a $10 discount for advertising on our site, if they come into the office to make payment in person (I need to see your student card). So, a basic ad costs just $20 (+HST) and you can include 1 photo; to include up to 5 photos with your ad, it's just $5 more - $25 +HST. All ads run for 30 days. You can pay by cash, debit, Visa MasterCard or AmEx.

If you want to post a sublet ad and have more than 1 room available in the house, just run 1 ad and split the cost with all the housemates involved.

office hours: Monday - Friday; 9:00 - 12:00, 1:00 - 4:00. Since I'm the only that works here, I sometimes have to close if I have to go to a meeting, sorry.
