If you have a course that someone needs and vice versa, both of you log in to solar simultaneously and drop/add the courses (best to do it at an obscure time when no one else has the opportunity to ninja)

In cases like this cant you email the prof or your academic advisor and they can put you in it? (It might be a bit early for that they might tell you to wait till closer to September)
But they've gotta accommodate you for one class if there's no other way for you to graduate on time
