Is CRA the one doing the checking? i dont have to do anything here ri?

You just have to wait for them to do their own thing, its beyond your control; just make sure to update your income if you made a mistake or were seriously off what you put in the begining

Yeah I actually asked them today. Basically u have to wait until the September 20th. If you don't get it, something is wrong.

will we be charged late fee's because of this?

I dont think so, there will still be sometime until the actual payment. You still got untill the 20th, chill.
