Owe OSAP money
Hi guys,

I owe OSAP some money due to dropping a course.

Who would I make the cheque out to exactly?

Thanks.

You normally make the cheque out to the National Student Loans Center, whom you call for a receipt a few days after the payment has been processed. The SFAS receives the receipt (the NSLC sends it directly to them) and confirms that your overpayment has been cleared, which allows you to continue getting more OSAP.

If this is your first overpayment, you will not need to repay it but if it is a small amount, you may want to consider doing so and ask if you can, instead, waive the next overpayment. You still need to inform the SFAS regardless.
