Participants needed for NEW research on study aids!
Have you ever used a pharmaceutical study aid, like Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanese, Dexedrine, or Concerta? Are you a full-time student at McMaster? You are eligible to participate in a study currently taking place on campus!

You are invited to take part in this study on pharmaceutical study aid use because we are hoping to learn more about how that impacts judgement of performance, a student's decision to use study aids, and how study aid use is recognized in particular population groups. I am conducting this research for an undergraduate research thesis. The study is intended as the first stage of a larger research project.

This research aims to contribute to the dialogue around the use of study aids, specifically pharmaceuticals, among students. This discussion is currently taking place among student populations, faculty members, and various university administrators. Usage of pharmaceutical study aids may have increased in recent years.

The study involves two stages. The first stage involves a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview and will take approximately 45 minutes. The second stage involves a questionnaire and a self-led reflection involving 3 questions, and will be completed entirely online over approximately 30 minutes. The second stage takes place 14 days after the first stage.

Please contact Natasha, the research student, at [email protected] mail.com for more information. Participants remain completely anonymous and participation in this study is entirely voluntary.
