Paying Mcmaster?
I am really confused on how to pay my tuition online. I went into musgsi and clicked on "pay your account" and there is a student account balance that is $0 and payment agreement balance that is $9946. Do i put the amount of $9946 in the first box of the "I would like to pay" section or the second one? Am i the only one who is having trouble with this?

I'm not sure about the boxes, but I wasn't able to pay online using the interac thing because my limit was too low, so I just paid online on my bank's website (rather than the mcmaster website). That could be an option too if you're having trouble.

Use your bank site. Your limit was probaly only 5k on your credit card. You can also set it up with your parents acc to transfer funds

Paying on your bank site works as long as you have an account set-up (account number is your student number). If the limit it still an issue, you may have to go into your bank with a proof of enrolment and get them to do the transfer for you there. I did that back in first year because my limit wouldn't allow me either!

if you really want to pay it online, you could break the payment into two with a day's gap, to fulfill the limit requirement. doing it at the bank takes a week or so to process from what I know. I could be wrong though :s

I typically just pay online through my bank's site (organization is MCMASTER UNIVERSITY and the account number if your student #) like a usual bill payment. Most bank accounts have an Interac limit that's lower than your tuition, and it'll take time for the request to increase that limit to be processed anyway.

Yes, always your student number (stays the same throughout your time at Mac).
