Personal Timetables Updates

MacInsiders is looking into finding the answers to all your questions as well as keeping you all posted on the status of the timetable system. Feel free to discuss your conflicts in the MacInsiders discussion thread.

August 7th
Update 11:00 am: Printing issues - I have been informed that some of you may be experiencing printing issues with the timetables - ie. term 1 prints fine but term 2 may not print properly. This seems to be within browers. If it does not work in Internet Explorer, please try Firefox.

Update 10:08am: Timetables should be working now. If you were getting the 'no access' message, please try now. The problem was found and corrected. Students that have conflicts should try in SOLAR first to fix the conflicts and should be able to resolve them, but if courses keep coming back full and you are unable to fix your conflicts since all alternatives are full, you'll need to get assistance by contacting your Faculty Office.

Update 9:40am: The team working on the timetable system have found what may be causing the "No Access" problem and is in the proces of fixing it. Fingers crossed it should be fixed soon.

After the long weekend break, the timetable system is running faster now but there are still "no access" problems with people not being able to get into their timetables. More updates soon.

August 5th
It appears there has been a lot of discussion about timetables being unaccessable, but no need to panic! Classes can't be altered until SOLAR re-opens which is on Tuesday. I will be posting information as soon it comes in and will be trying to find answers on the status of the timetable system and just about every other question you guys have been posting in the forum. Don't worry... I'm looking into it for all of you, so just keep checking back here for the latest!

Note: Remember that once SOLAR re-opens on Tuesday you will be able to switch up your tutorial/lab/core class sections to different ones that are open and this should effectively resolve your conflicting schedules.

August 4th
Update: "You do not have access to view the Personal Timetable". It would appear the service is temporarily down and working intermittently. In the meantime, use the MacInsiders nifty Word Document schedule that you can manually fill in yourself for now. Fill it in by looking your classes up in the Master Course Timetable. Details on how to do that are here.

August 3rd
The undergraduate personal timetable project had hoped to launch this morning, but has been delayed. MacInsiders will keep you posted on the status.

Update: 4:30PM - Timetables are now into final processing. Timetables should be up within the hour (fingers crossed!).
Update: 5:47PM - Timetables up
Update: 6:16PM - Server seems to be overloaded, please be patient
Update: 6:45PM - Works now, you just need to be patient as it loads

wow mines takin forever to load..theres proly alot of ppl on it

i want to change the timing of my psychology course..and i went onto SOLAR, but it says its unavailable. Does anyone know if when I can change it?

the 7th it will reopen
