PhotoShop On campus?
Hey everyone,

Just wondering if there is any public access computer lab on campus that has PhotoShop installed?

Picnik is pretty sweet, but since you don't have layering options you can't really "create" anything. I'd recommend Aviary instead for more intensive browser based photo editing, although it has a bit of a learning curve.

GIMP sucks in my opinion. It's more like an upgraded version of paint.

Anyway, there is a lab in ITB 236 with a million macs with photoshop installed. You normally need a swipe card to get in, but there tends to always be someone around to let you in if you just knock :p.

GIMPshop is slightly better, but to be honest I'm still not a fan.

206 and 209 are good options. They're both quiet, have a fair amount of computers and aren't typically busy. The only time there's people in there are if there are first year Multimedia tutorials going on and generally that's only in 1 at a time so the other one would be open for people to work in. They have Photoshop CS3 I believe, not sure if they upgraded to CS4 for them, haven't been in there in a while.
