Physics/Orgo reservation Dilemma
I asked for a seat in a much-needed class, and I've received a reservation..but not in the term I was hoping for since I will now have to drop a course that I wanted to take. So, I have a few questions:

1) If I don't add this course yet, how long will it be before the reservation gets "taken away?"

2) How brutal would it really be for me to take Physics 1B03 and Orgo 1 in the same semester when they are not my best subjects at all?

and

3) Do many seats for first year courses re-open in August? For example, Physics 1b03?

Thanks

Not sure about 1)

2) I'd say pretty brutal if you're not strong in those subjects. Why not take one over the summer?

3) Usually seats open up first week of school because of random people dropping/switching courses

I'm not sure about reservations, but I know course permissions don't expire for the whole term. It might say on SOLAR though if you check the list of unused permissions/reservations/etc that you have.

umm im guessing that orgo 1 is in sem 1 and so is the physics u got, in which case u wanted physics to be in 2nd term. now if ur also going to be taking orgo 2 then it should be irrelevant which term physics is in cus the difficulty will be the same...

none the less if u put some work into it you should be fine. for me chem is chem whether it be orgo or first year i dont see the big diff and if many ppl can take physics and first year chem at the same time u can take it along with orgo too

The trick with Organic Chemistry is to practice; while it is definitely a challenging course, as is Physics, practicing until the concepts become second nature is really all you need
