HAPPY PI DAY EVERYONE!
Pi Day commemorates the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 (or 3/14 in month/day date format), because 3, 1 and 4 are the three most significant digits of π.
In 1989, Larry Shaw created Pi Day. It was first celebrated at the San Francisco Exploratorium, where Shaw, a physist, walked around a circular space with other staff and Exporatorium attendees. They then ate fruit pies.
Some Pi Day Facts
