POL SCI 3N06 or SOC SCI 2J03?
Im going into second year doing a double major in gerontology & political science, and im wondering what course is better to take between POL SCI 3N06 or SOC SCI 2J03? Im pretty bad at math, but at the same time ive heard SOC SCI 2J03 is easier. any feed back? thanks!

Hey! SOC SCI 2J03 is a very easy course in my opinion. Doesn't require heavy math at all. I had McGee teaching it last year which was great but I've heard that Bruce (who taught the evening core) was much harder.

There are only 2 multiple choice midterms and a final.

I recommend it! I haven't taking POL SCI 3N06 though so I can't tell you about the level of difficulty of that course.

Just letting you know that SOC SCI 2J03 is an antirequisite to POL SCI 3N06, and the 3N06 course is a mandatory course for all political science majors. I know someone in Poli Sci who took 2J03, and was forced to drop this credit since it was an antirequisite. So if you're planning on majoring in Political Science, it's best to go with POL SCI 3N06 for your stats course

Good luck!
