Pool leagues
I figure there's some kind of pool league in town somewhere. Ive tried googling it, but cant find a website for any. Anyone know of any leagues, preferably close to downtown?

Well there should be with the assumption that since we have a very well organized poker league(redhotpoker; they have for free sessions every week for two months during school year, join the campus events fb group for a reminder/heads up) that operates on various Pubs/Bars in Hamilton, there should be something for pool too. However the only pool place I know is End Pockets at Upper James. You should visit it sometime and ask the patrons!

lol as for q1: Google End Pocket Hamilton. It will most probably give you a googlemaps link. Go there and then type in your home address; lastly in the route section choose public transit! Easy.
